Network Response Codes

The meaning behind every decline code, including the ones knowable before authorization.

Start using PayOS, pay per use. No sales call required.

What are they?

Two characters end every authorization.

Every Visa and Mastercard authorization ends in a two-character code. 00 approves. Everything else is a reason.

✓Some are permanent. Retrying a hard decline costs a fee, every time.
✓Most are about the card. Not the money. Knowable before any amount.
✓PayOS sees them pre-auth. A dead card never reaches your PSP.
