Bank Ownership Verification

Deep validation of an account holder against bank records, matching name, address, SSN, DOB, email and phone with field-level results.

Start using PayOS, pay per use. No sales call required.

Verified against the bank’s own records.

You send the identity your customer claims. PayOS compares it to the identity the bank has on file and returns one clear verdict.

The strongest check: KYC first, then match the bank.

Fraudsters type whatever address gets them through. So do not verify the address they typed. Verify the address that survived KYC.

STEP 1
KYC the individual
The PayOS KYC API verifies the person and pins down their real legal name and address.
STEP 2
Match against the bank
Take the KYC’d name and address, not the typed ones, and run Bank Ownership Verification on the account.
STEP 3
Fraud has nowhere to hide
A fraudster’s made-up address can pass a form. It cannot match both a KYC record and the bank’s file.
Two independent sources, one identity: the KYC record and the bank’s own file must both agree before money moves.
