Card Ownership Verification

Name, address, email and phone, checked directly against the issuing bank’s records. Each field returns a match result.

Start using PayOS, pay per use. No sales call required.

Know Your Card before every transaction.

The bank knows who owns the card. You only see who is using it. PayOS compares the two, field by field, and tells you where they diverge.

Four fields match in full, one partially, two do not. You decide whether to step up, hold or approve, before the charge is ever authorized.

Every way to prove a card is safe to charge.

One card comes in. PayOS confirms who the shopper is, that they hold the card, and that their bank stands behind them, all before you authorize.

Confirm the cardholder
The name and billing address match what the bank has on file.
Confirm they hold the card
The security code and card details prove the real card is in hand.
Confirm the person is real
Their email and phone are live and genuinely belong to them.
Let the bank vouch for them
The issuing bank authenticates the shopper and takes on the fraud risk.
Validate the 3-D Secure cryptogram
PayOS verifies the authentication cryptogram and reads the result code: fully authenticated, attempted with liability shift, not authenticated, or failed.
Validate the token cryptogram
For wallet and network tokens, PayOS confirms the cryptogram is genuine and bound to this token, so a copied token cannot pass as the real one.

Every detail, checked against the source of truth.

The shopper hands over a few details. PayOS matches each one against what the issuing bank and networks already hold, then confirms possession and authentication, before you authorize.

Approve good orders

Protect revenue before you authorize.

One card check, four ways it protects your revenue.

Approve more good orders
Clear real customers instead of turning them away on a bad guess.
Lose less to fraud
Catch impostors before money moves, not after the chargeback lands.
Win more disputes
Verified checks give you the evidence to fight and win chargebacks.
Move risk to the bank
When the bank authenticates a shopper, fraud liability shifts to them.
